Algorithmic impact assessment

As the impacts and harms of algorithms are increasingly recognised, including in the economic and work context, algorithmic impact assessments (AIAs) have gained recognition as a possible tool for regulation to protect the public interest. This shelf shares resources which highlight the potential and pitfalls of AIAs and related impact assessments. It has been prepared by Institute for the Future of Work Researcher Stephanie Sheir. We are keen to critically engage with a wide range of perspectives on the future of work. These resources do not necessarily reflect the views of the Institute.
