We are modelling new approaches that promote people's agency and expand their capabilities. We prioritise human over technological capabilities.

We focus on developing, through work design, people-centred approaches to technology adoption which promote human capabilities.
We are working on the Mayor of London's AI and Jobs Taskforce, providing leadership through Taskforce Co-Chairing by Anna Thomas MBE, and expert research analysis to consider the effects and implications of AI on the tasks, productivity, inclusion, and job quality of work in London.
We collaborated with the CIPD to understand the areas of HR, organisation strategy, and people development practice crucial to successful AI implementation at work.
Supported by the ICO, the Good Work Algorithmic Impact Assessment helps employers and engineers to involve workers and their representatives in the design, development and deployment of algorithmic systems.
