In partnership with the Alan TuringInstitute and Queen Mary University London, and with support from SomersetHouse, IFOW hosted a roundtable breakfast for leading figures from theUK Creative Industries to discuss the impacts of AI.
Participants included film directors, actors, podcasters, architects and leading arts administrators. In breakout sessions, discussions were guided on what the current impacts being experienced were, and what the future might hold. Framing this was Dr Abigail Gilbert's new report, Reframing Automation.
There was huge enthusiasm for continuing to meet to explore impacts and responses.
