The Future of Work Review to be completed

APPG FOW Logo

Former government reviewer Matt Warman MP has been appointed co-chair  of the All Party Parliamentary Group on the Future of Work and will complete his Future of Work Review cross-party, with the support of the Institute for the Future of Work, which acts as strategic research partner and secretariat for the APPG.

In May 2022, Matt was tasked by the then Prime Minister Boris Johnson to undertake a review into how the government could support the UK labour market.

The Future of Work Review will build on the four areas previously outlined by Matt Warman MP in his letter to the Prime Minister, and first shared at an IFOW parliamentary event last February. Aligning with IFOW and partners focus areas, these are:

  • Place and choice
  • Skills and capabilities
  • AI and automation
  • Regulation and workers’ rights
